Ranjivosti su konceptualizirane što podrazumijeva neizvjesne i potencijalno rizične vrste izloženosti i otvorenosti silama koje nadilaze pojedinca, lokalno i ljudsko. U radu pod naslovom Researcher Vulnerabilities in Sensitive Research (Ranjivost istraživača u osjetljivim istraživanjima) dr. Lynette Šikić-Mićanović istražuje mogućnosti ranjivosti i štete istraživača u istraživanju s društveno marginaliziranim skupinama. Nakon rasprave o razlozima ranjivosti istraživača, ona se usredotočuje na strategije za smanjenje stresa i emocionalne patnje istraživača koje je potrebno provoditi tijekom cijeloga istraživačkog procesa.

Rad se zasniva na obradi kvalitativnih podataka prikupljenih u sklopu CSRP projekta Exploring Homelessness and Pathways to Social Inclusion: A Comparative Study of Contexts and Challenges in Swiss and Croatian Cities (No. IZHRZO_180631/1).

Vulnerabilities were conceptualised as entailing uncertain and potentially risky kinds of exposure and openness to forces that transcend the individual, the local, the human. In her paper, entitled Researcher Vulnerabilities in Sensitive Research Dr. Lynette Šikić-Mićanović explores the potentialities for researcher vulnerability and harm in research with socially marginalised groups. Following a discussion on reasons for researcher vulnerability, she focuses on strategies to minimise researcher distress and emotional suffering that need to be implemented throughout the research process.

This paper was based on qualitative research materials that were collected as part of the CSRP project: Exploring Homelessness and Pathways to Social Inclusion: A Comparative Study of Contexts and Challenges in Swiss and Croatian Cities (No. IZHRZO_180631/1).
