Scientific production – scientometrical analysis
An overview of the international citation databases (WoS and SCOPUS), as of January 7, follows:
WoS (All databases)
A total of 888 papers indexed in this database between 1997 and 2025 have received 6,662 citations, of which 964 were recorded in 2025. By January 2026, 47 papers published in 2025 have been indexed in this database. The H-index of the Institute is 36.
Scopus
Of f the total of 1,071 papers indexed in this database from 2000 to the end of 2025, 793 papers were cited 8,706 times, of which 1,381 citations were recorded in 2025. As of early January 2026, 70 papers published in 2025 have been indexed in this database. The H-index of the Pilar Institute is 40.
Compared to the previous year, the number of cited works increased, as did the value of the H-index in the WoS and Scopus databases. The number of citations in the WoS database (All Databases) increased by 303 citations, and in the Scopus database by 1,494 citations. Accordingly, the H-indices of the Pilar Institute increased in both databases, by five points in the Scopus database and by one point in the WoS database. Data on the scientific production of the Institute’s researchers (source: CroRIS) and indexing in reference databases in 2025.
