Elaborate on evaluation of scientific and professional conferences of the project “Strategic reflection on the future of Croatia” of the Croatian Generals Association

The purpose of the project was to determine to what extent the scientific conferences organized by the Croatian Generala Association within the framework of the project “Strategic reflection on the future of Croatia” contributed to the opening of new scientific and professional topics, and thus to a better recognition and understanding of the three essential components and determinants of Croatia’s present and future in the context of new intra-Croatian and international forces: (1) national security and security threats and challenges; (2) demography, migration and internal security; (3) the position of Croats outside Croatia. The main goal of the project was to create an Elaborate with the results of the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of those conferences in the context of national strategic documents, primarily the National Development Strategy until 2030. The empirical basis of the evaluation was the relevant national strategic documents and broader summaries and ppt presentations of the announcements of the participants of scientific and professional conferences with the aim of drawing conclusions and public policy proposals related to threats and challenges, but also the potentials of the demographic, social, economic and security framework of the current development and the future of the Republic of Croatia.
