Promotion of the edited volume Povijest i kultura dugoselskog područja; Zagreb, 23/09/2026
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the presentation of the collected papers “History and Culture of the Dugo Selo Area” was held in the Multimedia Hall of the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences. The volume was edited by Danijel Vojak, PhD (Pilar Institute)) and Predrag Topić (Director of the Dugo Selo Public Library), while the publishers are the Dugo Selo Public Library and the Pilar Institute
The presentation was moderated by Dr. Ljiljana Dobrovšak. Following opening remarks by the Institute’s director, Prof. Željko Holjevac, PhD, Predrag Topić — a representative of the co-publisher and one of the editors — and Danijel Vojak, PhD, the other editor, spoke about the volume. Tomislav Matić, PhD (Croatian Institute of History) and Prof. Damir Fofić (Prigorje Museum, Sesvete) spoke about their contributions to the volume.
