Danijel Vojak, PhD, participated in the International Summer School Roma in the Ottoman and Post-Ottoman World held in Urla, Turkey, from 16 to 22 August 2026.

The Summmer School was organized by the Institute for Knowledge, Research, and Society (Canada), the Rroma Foundation (Switzerland), and the İzmir Institute of Technology (Turkey). Danijel Vojak, PhD, delivered on August 20, 2026 a lecture entitled “Roma as Collateral Victims of the Wars in the Former Yugoslavia during the 1990s,” in which he analysed the position and experiences of Roma during the wars of the 1990s in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
