Research on nightclubs presented et the Psychology in Practice conference; Zagreb, 05-07/05/2026
The Psychology in Practice conference, organized by the Club of Psychology students of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, “Feniks”, was held from May 5 to May 7, 2026 at the Faculty of Croatian Studies. Within the conference, a panel titled Research on Nightlife: Perspectives of Researchers and Students – Project Collaborators was held. During the panel, the principal investigator Renata Glavak Tkali, PhD, presented the methodology and field research, Anja Wertag, PhD, discussed previous pilot research on nightlife, while assistant Bruno Škovrlj talked about his perspective as a student involved in the pilot study and as a researcher within the REAL NIGHTS project
A significant contribution to the successful implementation of the field research was also made by the involvement of nine students from the Faculty of Croatian Studies: Andrija Diklić, Helena Ida Halambek, Filip Ileš, Jan Klobučić, Dorija Pandža, Mila Ravlić, Stella Santini, Jelena Vedriš, Jelena Vojnić; one student from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, Ivana Ivanec; and one volunteer, psychologist Nina Markus. The panel presented their perspectives and experiences of conducting research in nightclubs, with moderation by Jan Klobučića and Jelena Vedriš.
