Andrej Ivan Nuredinović, PhD, and Dino Vukušić, PhD, took part in a teaching and research visit at the Faculty of Sport, University of Ljubljana, from 26 March to 1 May 2026, within the framework of the TYPES project
During their stay, they participated in a series of teaching and research activities related to the sociology of sport, research on football supporters, and various forms of youth subcultures connected to sport. As part of the programme, they delivered lectures and held working meetings with faculty members and researchers from the Faculty of Sport, University of Ljubljana, where they presented the research results achieved so far and exchanged experiences and methodological approaches relevant to the TYPES project.
Particular emphasis was placed on topics such as supporter activism, democratic governance of sports organisations, and the social aspects of sport, opening opportunities for research cooperation between the participating institutions.
During the visit, meetings were also held with colleagues from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, as well as with colleagues from the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. These meetings focused on discussing potential forms of further cooperation on joint research activities.
Participation in the training programme contributed to strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of the sociology of sport and the study of various social aspects of sport.
