Danijel Vojak, Phd, delivered a lecture on the topic “The History of Roma in Croatia”; Zagreb, 29/04/2026
On April 29, 2026, Danijel Vojak, PhD, delivered a lecture titled “The History of Roma in Croatia.” The lecture was organized by the Perspektiva Association, led by Mr. Ramiz Ajdin, in collaboration with the Pilar Institute. It was held as part of the City of Zagreb-funded project – Sensitizing and Strengthening the Competencies of City Administration Officials, Zagreb Holding Employees, and City-Founded Institutions for Roma Integration

The gathering was opened by the Director, Prof. Željko Holjevac, PhD, who highlighted the Institute’s focus on researching the history and culture of minority communities in the Republic of Croatia. As part of the project, Ljatif Demir, PhD, will deliver the second lecture on Romani Language and Literature. The lecture is scheduled for May 18, 2026, starting at 10 AM, and is planned to take place in the Multimedia Hall of the Pilar Institute.
