The Traditional Science Tuesday at the Pilar Institute Forum held at the Vukovar Regional Center; Vukovar, 08/09/2026
On September 8, 2026, the Library of the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences – Regional Center Vukovar hosted the traditional Science Tuesday at the Pilar Institute forum. As part of the forum, a panel discussion was held, along with the presentation of the book New Immigration: (Dis)Integration of Society and the End of Democracy by Elizabeta Mađarević, PhD
Joining the author in discussing various issues related to current global migration trends were researchers from the Pilar Institute of Vukovar, Sandra Cvikić, PhD and Dražen Živić, PhD.
Following the introductory presentations, a lengthy and engaging discussion took place. The forum was organized as part of the implementation of the project Dynamics and Challenges of Migration, Re-emigration and Immigration in the Republic of Croatia (DinamiRH), funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. The forum also continued the activities of the Vukovar Regional Center of the Pilar Institute marking the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Pilar Institute and the 20th anniversary of the Vukovar Regional Center.
