Nensi Tomac, research assistant on the VETFIT project, and Marija Kostanić, research assistant on the WorkMobil project, participated in the 13th European Doctoral Programme in Career Guidance and Counselling (ECADOC) Summer School, held at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, from 17 to 21 August under the title Critical Perspectives within Lifelong Guidance

As part of the summer school, the research assistants learned about the Irish career guidance system through plenary lectures and discussions, with a particular focus on working with people with intellectual disabilities. They also participated in numerous workshops focused on research in the field of career development.

Furthermore, the research assistants took part in collective academic supervision sessions, where, in smaller groups, they had the opportunity to present their work as part of their doctoral research and the VETFIT and WorkMobil projects.

On 20th of August, the research assistants visited the Wexford Further Education and Training (FET) Centre (WWETB), where they were introduced to the Centre’s work. They also participated in action groups working on case studies within the field.
