Dražen Živić, PhD, presented the monograph 5th Guards Brigade of the Croatian Army “Sokolovi”; Donji Miholjac, 07/07/2026
Organized by the War Commanders and Senior Officers Club of the Veterans Association of the 5th Guards Brigade “Sokolovi”, another presentation of the monograph 5th Guards Brigade of the Croatian Army “Sokolovi”, published by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, was held in Donji Miholjac on July 7, 2026
Along with the head of the Expert Team for the preparation of the Monograph, Brigadier Mijo Kožić, the book was presented by Dražen Živić, PhD, from the Vukovar Regional Center of the Pilar Institute, while the welcoming speech was given by Mr. Dražen Trcović, Mayor of Donji Miholjac. In his address, Dražen Živić, PhD, payed particular attention to the issue of the character of the Homeland War and the role of the largest part of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem as the domicile area of the Brigade in its formation and war path.
