Research Assistant Marta Keglević participated in the EUI Widening Programme; Florence, 11-15/05/2026
Research assistant Marta Keglević, Vukovar Regional Centre, stayed at the European University Institute as part of the EUI Widening Programme from 11 to 15 May 2026
During the mobility period, she presented her current research framework and implementation plan for her doctoral research and dissertation entitled “Gender and the Perception of the Local Environment in Shaping Migration Aspirations of Youth in Rural Eastern Croatia” (within the project LozaRH – Transformations of Local Communities in the Republic of Croatia. Globalization Challenges and Development Potentials) to a committee, colleagues, and researchers at the EUI, followed by a discussion and feedback on the proposed topic.
The mobility period provided an opportunity for academic networking, familiarisation with the EUI’s facilities and research resources, including the use of its official library, as well as the presentation of the research topic in an international academic environment.
