Research Assistant Marija Kostanić at the 25th Psychology Days in Zadar; Zadar, 21-23/05/2026
At the 25th Psychology Days international scientific and professional conference, organized by the Department of Psychology at the University of Zadar from 21st to 23rd of May 2026, Research Assistant Marija Kostanić presented research findings in a presentation titled „Validation of the SUPERB Model of Job Quality: Evidence from CFA and Bifactor Analyses“
The presented paper was developed as part of the Intra-European Youth Labour Migrations in the Context of Contemporary Career Theories (WORKMOBIL) research project, in collaboration with Prof. Zvonimir Galić, PhD from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and Iva Šverko, PhD, the principal investigator of the WORKMOBIL research project.
The presentation covered the results of a validation study of three scales within the SUPERB Model of Job Quality, conducted using confirmatory factor analysis and bifactor analysis. The tested scales included the SUPERB Job Quality questionnaire, the SUPERB Needs Importance questionnaire and the SUPERB Instrumentality questionnaires within Croatia and EU-31 countries.
The results indicate the presence of a strong general factor within each of the SUPERB scales, with a recommendation to use total scale scores.
