Educational workshop held with students of Vukovar Gymnasium as part of the project Transformation of Local Communities in the Republic of Croatia (LozaRH); Vukovar, 19/03/2026
On March 19, 2026, an educational workshop was held with 4th grade students of the general education program at Vukovar Gymnasium. The activity was carried out as part of the project Transformation of Local Communities in the Republic of Croatia: Global Challenges and Development Potentials (LozaRH) under the leadership of Mateo Žanić, PhD. The workshop was conducted by Ivana Bendra, PhD, and research assistant Marta Keglević
The goal of the activity was to encourage students to reflect on various social aspects of the presence of foreign workers in the local community and to view the topic from multiple perspectives. During the workshop, students were introduced to relevant concepts related to the topic and had the opportunity to express their opinions and perceptions on various aspects.
We would like to thank teacher Mirela Milković for her active cooperation in preparing the workshop. We also thank the Vukovar Gymnasium for the opportunity and for recognizing the importance of conducting such workshops among high school students.
