At the 4th KOKOSS Conference Digital Age and Forms of Care in Different Contexts, held from 24 to 27 February 2026 in Šibenik, Andreja Brajša-Žganec, PhD, presented the results of the DigiLitA Project
4th KOKOSS Conference Digital Age and Forms of Care in Different Contexts; Šibenik, 24.-27/02/2026
The presentation entitled “The Path to a Positive School Experience: The Role of Parental Involvement” discussed how the family environment influences whether children like school or try to avoid it. The results suggest that a positive school experience largely depends on the individual experience of the student, while parental involvement, although related to children’s attitudes, does not have a crucial predictive role. The co-authors of the presentation were Marina Kotrla Topić, PhD, Ana-Marija Ćorić, Marija Džida, PhD, and Maja Kućar.
