Working meeting of the research team and partners of the TYPeS project; Zagreb, 02/02/2026
The annual working meeting of the research team and partners of the TYPeS project (Types of Youth Participation in Croatian Society) was held at the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences on 2 February 2026. This four-year scientific project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU
The meeting evaluated the research sections planned in the work plan for 2025. In the previous year, along with intensive field research on the islands and in Zagreb, seven research papers were published. Training courses for senior assistants were organized abroad, and members of the research team gave seven presentations at international and seven at national scientific conferences.
In addition to further training of individual members of the research team abroad during the spring of 2026, the meeting discussed the next research steps until the summer of this year in order to complete the collection of data through archival research, an online survey of high school students, ethnographic studies and intergenerational interviews. Finally, it was agreed to work on the analysis of the collected data and to write and publish scientific papers in scientific journals and books, as well as to organize public lectures and forums in Zagreb and on our islands.

In addition to the team members, the meeting was also attended by project partner Gabrijela Martić, and via the online application, Rašeljka Krnić, PhD, Dražen Šimleša, PhD, and project partner Vicko Marelić.
