Research Assistant Tamara Bolić at the 11th International Conference Empowering Potential for Community Prevention Activities; Osijek, 5-7/02/2026
Assistant on the TEEN-WELL project Tamara Bolić participated in the 11th International Conference Strengthening Potentials for Preventive Activities in the Community held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek from 5 to 7 February 2026
As part of her participation, she gave an oral presentation entitled “The Path to Prevention in the Family – the Role of Parental Psychological Control and Support for Autonomy in Adolescent Mental Health” (authors: Tamara Bolić, Andreja Brajša-Žganec, PhD, Marija Džida, PhD, Marina Kotrla Topić, PhD, and Ana-Marija Ćorić, mag. psych.).
She presented the results of the pilot research of the TEEN-WELL project. The presented research points to the importance of preventive activities that empower parents in providing support to adolescents, which will support their development of autonomy and the creation of supportive family relationships with the aim of improving the mental health of adolescents.
