A three-day meeting of the consortium of the We-ID (Identities – Migration – Democracy) project; Zagreb, 25-27/02/2026
From February 25 to 27, 2026, a consortium meeting of the We-ID (Identities – Migration – Democracy) project, a three-year research project financed by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program, was held in Zagreb
The meeting was hosted by the Pilar Institute and it was attended by representatives of partner institutions: Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, University of St Andrews, Bocconi University, Institute for the Study of Population and Human Studies, Council of the Baltic Sea States and The Civics Innovation Hub.
Representatives of partner institutions presented the first conceptualizations of quantitative research, including methodological frameworks and planned analytical approaches. Also, the first results, conceptual frameworks and early analyzes of qualitative data are presented. In addition, a field visit was organized to organizations and institutions that carry out activities aimed at helping immigrants in Zagreb, and the partners had the opportunity to talk with representatives of organizations and activists involved in the implementation of various integration initiatives.
