U okviru 18. međunarodnog kongresa International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR) Encountering emotions in folk narrative and folklife održanog online u Zagrebu od 5. do 8. rujna 2021., dr. sc. Lynette Šikić Mićanović, s Estherom Mühlethalerom (FHNW), održala je izlaganje na panelu Research Practices and Emotions

Prezentacija pod naslovom Emotions in field diaries and their value in reflexive ethnography with homeless people odražava upotrebu terenskih dnevnika kao alata za poboljšanje mjesta emocija u terenskom radu. Ova je analiza dio većega komparativnoga istraživačkog projekta Istraživanje beskućništva i putova do socijalne inkluzije: Komparativna studija konteksta i izazova u švicarskim i hrvatskim gradovima (CSRP) (No. IZHRZO_180631/1) koji ima za cilj razumjeti svakodnevni život ljudi koji doživljavaju beskućništvo i društvenu isključenost. Projekt je financiran u okviru Hrvatsko-švicarskoga istraživačkog programa Hrvatske zaklade za znanost i Švicarske nacionalne zaklade za znanost putem sredstava Švicarsko-hrvatskog programa suradnje.

As part of the 18th Congress of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR) Encountering emotions in folk narrative and folklife held online in Zagreb from 5-8 September, 2021, Dr. Lynette Šikić Mićanović, Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar with Esther Mühlethaler, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern, Switzerland (FHNW) participated in the panel: Research Practices and Emotion.

Their presentation entitled Emotions in field diaries and their value in reflexive ethnography with homeless people reflects on the use of field diaries as a tool to enhance the place of emotions in fieldwork. This analysis is part of a larger comparative research project Exploring Homelessness and Pathways to Social Inclusion: A Comparative Study of Contexts and Challenges in Swiss and Croatian Cities (CSRP) (No. IZHRZO_180631/1) that aims to understand the everyday lives of people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion. This work is financed within the Croatian-Swiss Research Program of the Croatian Science Foundation and the Swiss National Science Foundation with funds obtained from the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Program.
